Measuring Innovation - Create Your Own Innovation Indicator Index

 

In the pursuit of innovation that better serves economic and social development globally, Fundación Telefonica, the INSEAD eLab, and the OECD Development Centre have joined forces to better understand – and measure more accurately – innovation in Latin America and the Caribbean. One of the tools serving this purpose will be a Latin American Innovation Index, which will gather and make available a broad variety of enablers, characteristics and performance of innovation systems that will better suited to the reality of innovation in Latin America than traditional variables developed so far for high-income countries. Our aim is to provide a deeper knowledge of the Latin American “innovation eco-systems” in a way that is useful and relevant to policy makers, business leaders and other interested parties.”
